I joined the University of Edinburgh in 1999 and my role a Engineering Operation
Manager provides for an interesting and varied workload across an extensive
estate of over 200 buildings built from the 1850's to the current day. I am
responsible for all mechanical and electrical engineering and manage a team of
technical and trades staff. This team provides for the ongoing maintenance of
the building services as well as guiding the designs of all new building
projects.
I am married with two sons and enjoy getting outdoors and
gardening. Current project is building a mini raced by my elder son.
