HEEAF
Higher Education Estates Associations Forum
The AUE Chairman and Treasurer attend meetings of the Higher Education Estates Associations Forum (HEEAF) in London twice a year, where they meet with representatives from other Estates areas. AUE members are invited to view the Minutes and associated reports from the latest meetings. The associations that form HEEAF are:
Association of University Chief Security Officers (AUCSO)
Association of University Directors of Estates (AUDE)
Association of University Engineers (AUE)
Association for Student Residential Accommodation (ASRA)
British Association of Cleaning in HE (BACHE)
College and University Business Officers (CUBO)
Environmental Association for Universities and Colleges (EAUC)
Higher Education Business Continuity Officers (HEBCoN)
Standing Conference for Heads of Media Services (SCHOMS)
The University Caterers Organisation Ltd (TUCO)
Universities Safety and Health Association (USHA)
The group meets twice a year. HEEAF is set up for the following purposes:
- to explore the potential advantages of related groups co-ordinating their activities to achieve maximum effect
- to increase efficiency
- to pool effort on issues affecting more than one group
- to promote better communication between sector Associations with strategic remit
- to facilitate upward dissemination of issues of concern
- to improve profile and image for all the groups
- to promote co-operation to meet the major challenges facing the sector.
The next HEEAF meeting will be held on 10 May 2016 at Woburn House, London (11.00am - 14.00pm). (Refreshments on arrival and a working lunch will be provided)
The second HEEAF meeting for 2016 will be held on 8 November 2016 at Woburn House, London (11.00am-14.00pm). (Refreshments on arrival and a working lunch will be provided) To be chaired by Trevor Humphreys, AUDE
