What to expect

Description

Bournemouth Gateway Building is the new home for the Faculty of Health & Social Sciences at Bournemouth University. In a key location at the heart of the Lansdowne Campus, the building has brought the Faculty together from a number of disparate sites, to create a new heart to the campus. BU is a key education provider for the NHS, with programmes covering nursing, midwifery, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, paramedic science and social work. The new development features state-of-the-art teaching space, clinical skills labs and facilities to develop students for a career in the health profession.

The BGB is the largest and most complex estate development in the University’s history: “The building is a huge milestone for the BU estate – not only does it offer a unified base for the faculty, which has been taking place across several buildings on Lansdowne Campus, but it also offers the latest specialist equipment for their education, research and practice.”
