AUE Executive Positions (Voluntary)
AUE Secretary
- John Lightowler has been a long serving member of the AUE Executive and was due to step down from his role as AUE Secretary in September 2020. However, John kindly agreed to put his retirement on hold until we were able to fill the position.

Vice Regional Chair (Wales)
- Keith Sims of Cardiff University, has kindly stepped back into the role of Chair but ideally he could do with a Vice Regional Chair to support him in setting up Regional Meetings, revitalising the Region and deputising on the Executive Committee so if this is something you would like to become involved in please let Sally know info@aue.ac.uk

Regional Chair & Vice Regional Chair (London)
- This post was previously held by Daniel Xuereb of Birkbeck, University of London from November 2019 until May 2021.

Vice Regional Chair (North East)
- This post was previously held by Sam Heppell, Newcastle University until September 2021 when he stepped up to become Regional Chair. Sam is now looking for support in his duties along with a deputy for when he is unable to attend the Executive Committee meetings.

BSRIA Coordinator
The main purpose of this role is to promote the AUE and its interests and experience of the HE sector through its membership of BSRIA (BSRIA is based in Bracknell, Berkshire)
As part of this role we:
- Encourage membership of BSRIA for all AUE members
- Exploration and promotion of training opportunities that can support the AUE
- Membership and attendance to the Publications Panel (4 times per year)
- Council Membership
- Attendance to Council Meeting (once per annum)
- Attendance to AGM (once per annum)
- Membership of Soft Landings User Group
- Explore and be open to participation and collaboration with BSRIA initiatives and programmes in the interests of the HE sector and the wider industry
