IGEM is excited to announce the return of its scholarships and grants scheme as we continue our mission to support young engineers at every stage of their lives.
The following scholarships and grants are available to those working towards an engineering career, via university study:
- Undergraduate Scholarship – Up to £3,000 per year (for the first three years) awarded to applicants about to commence an accredited degree
- First Year Undergraduate Scholarship – Available to students currently registered on the first year of an accredited degree, worth up to £6,000 for two years
- Postgraduate Masters Scholarship – Available to exceptional graduates with an accredited BEng (Hons) degree to allow them to undertake an accredited masters. Each scholarship is worth up to £6,500 for one year’s full time study.
- Student grants – Up to £1,500 can be awarded per academic year. Available to applicants on accredited, engineering-related undergraduate degree or masters courses
We’re looking for people who can demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of engineering and how they aspire to apply it. Applicants with an interest in the gas industry will be prioritised.
