London & South East Regional Chair

Most members will know that the region was in abeyance for a substantial period until, in 2009, Ian Armitage 're-booted' it with a series of meetings over his 2-year tenure as Chair.

David Wilkin then built on that good work until 2017, hosting the national conference in London in 2013 at Goldsmiths, swiftly followed by Mark Lawrence until 2019. Daniel Xuereb was then London Chair until May 2021.

In October 2023 Gaetano Cervino and Spensa Wheeler headed up the London Region - and breathed new life into the region. Resuming regional meetings and looking after the South East Region following the retirement of the South East Chair in 2024.

Vittorio took over Tano's position from 1st May 2026. The group is currently looking for a Vice Chair. Further information can be found on the Vacancy page.

November 2024 London and South East Regions voted to merge.
