Summary

NEUPC Connect is NEUPCs flagship member event, bringing together procurement professionals, estates colleagues, sector experts and strategic suppliers for a day of learning, networking and collaboration.

What to expect

This year's theme, "The Power of Procurement: Skills, Learning & Impact," explores how procurement can help drive innovation, resilience and value across higher education.

Speakers, include:

  • Alex Barker, co-founder of Be More Pirate, who will open the conference with an inspiring keynote on challenging the status quo and leading positive change.
  • Kieran McGaughey, procurement law expert, who will deliver a practical session on the latest developments in strategic procurement and the Procurement Act.
  • A 'State of the Nation' session, led by Finance Directors from across the sector, exploring the financial challenges facing higher education and what they mean for procurement, estates and institutional decision-making.
  • Paul Devoy, Once CEO of Investors in People, Paul will close the conference with an inspiring keynote on leadership, people and organisational performance.

Alongside the conference programme, delegates will have the opportunity to network with colleagues from universities across the region, engage with leading framework suppliers, and share ideas and best practice.

For estates professionals, the event offers valuable insight into the strategic role procurement plays in supporting capital projects, operational delivery, sustainability and long-term value, making it an excellent opportunity to strengthen collaboration across professional services.

We'd be delighted to welcome AUDE members to what promises to be an informative and engaging day.
