9th July 2026
Opening times: 10:00 - 16:00

Summary
The visit will explore how historic structures have been repurposed for a creative arts education, demonstrating sensitive approaches to conservation, adaptive reuse, and campus integration within a historic urban context.
What to expect
Situated in the city centre, the university’s award-winning campus combines historic buildings with modern, innovative spaces, bringing together medieval to modern architecture on the exterior, and industry-standard facilities and contemporary technologies within. Within the city centre campus, studios, media labs, and creative spaces are distributed across 13 buildings, set among cafés, bars, independent galleries, and shops that form part of Norwich’s wider cultural quarter.
The tour will conclude at the RIBA award winning Duke Street Riverside building, designed by Hudson Architects, which provides a contemporary counterpoint to the surrounding heritage buildings.
