Following an enquiry regarding support from the Engineering Development Trust, EDT, the AUE Executive were pleased to donate funding of £750 to support an event introducing young people to Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics STEM.
The funding allowed 6 pupils access to attend the 3 day event which included an introduction to University access and course content.

The Engineering Development Trust were very grateful for the funding and invited a representative of the AUE to attend the Engineering Education Scheme showcase event in Solihull on 2nd May where schools and colleges presented a host of engineering prototype ideas in partnership with national companies.
Paul Richards, who represented the AUE commented "It was great to see so many young people interested in engineering and developing some very worthy projects with many Blue Chip companies and representatives of the Education Sector"
