The AUE is building its digital presence to connect members, celebrate university engineering and create greater value for our partners – and we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make it happen.

We’ve recently launched the official AUE LinkedIn page, providing a platform to share what’s happening across the sector, promote AUE activities and showcase the fantastic work being done by university engineering teams.

The page is already gaining momentum, with 166 followers and 500+ impressions per post. But to make it a truly valuable community, we need members to get involved.

What could you get involved with?

As part of the Online Communications Group, you could help us:

• Develop and shape the AUE’s online communications and content.
• Showcase innovative projects, achievements and success stories from university engineering teams.
• Share knowledge, professional development opportunities and sector news.
• Highlight the contribution of our industry partners, sponsors and exhibitors.
• Promote AUE events, conferences, workshops and other activities.
• Help raise the profile of engineering careers within higher education and inspire the next generation of engineers.
• Strengthen connections between AUE members, universities and industry.

You don’t need to be a communications expert. We’re looking for people with ideas, enthusiasm and a willingness to contribute. Whether you have experience with social media and content creation, enjoy spotting a good story, or simply want to help showcase the work happening across our sector, we need help.
