Making your institution sustainable is challenging. The annual Green Gown Awards recognise those institutions, both large and small, that have made a difference. Entries are now open and any UK and Ireland university or college can enter for free - closes on 8 June.
What's new for 2016?
- Sustainability Reporting Award - NEW - Awarded by PwC - This award aims to assess the quality and relevance of sustainability reporting offered throughout the publicly available information provided by institutions.
- Research and Development - Student - NEW - As well as the revised Institution category this now has a new Student category which recognises excellent student research that progress the field of sustainability.
- Never applied before or been selected as a Finalist? Then the Best Newcomer category is for you with judges given the discretion to award up to 2 winners - one for Colleges and one for Universities
And to top all these we have just launched our new Green Gown Awards website. Take a look – we hope you like it. As well as having all the information in on place, you now have access to all the global regional partners and access to their resources.
